I'm traveling over the holidays and looking to sublet my large, super sunny apartment from Nov 27- Dec 2 and Dec 11- Jan 4. (Can be a bit flexible) Pre-war elevator building with fob entry and virtual doorman. My bedroom is furnished with a new thuma bed and 12-inch memory foam medium firmness mattress and has great window shades. I have a great work space with a standing desk, varidesk stool, keyboard/ mouse and Apple monitor. Air conditioner in bedroom and another in lounge area. Comfy lounge area with artwork, and the kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, grind and brew coffee machine (beans included), toaster, kettle, all cooking utensils and equipment, spices, oils etc. Tushy bidet in bathroom. Alexa controlled light, Bose music speaker.
Laundry and gym in building, with a package room downstairs. Incredible rooftop with views all the way to the Chrysler building. There's a great breakfast and brunch place in my building, a juice bar, a dry cleaning store, and a large Key Foods supermarket literally across the street. I'm near lots of attractions - Apollo theater, Sylvia and Red Rooster restaurant, 2-minute walk to the library and the Schomburg Center and a 5 minute walk to the river.
1-minute walk from the express 2 & 3 trains on the 135th subway stop and a 10-minute walk to the 4 & 5 or A, C & B trains. You're in midtown Times square in under 20 minutes.
One thing to note: I'm on the main Malcolm X Blvd on the 3rd floor not too far from Harlem hospital, and as such, some neighborhood noise is to be expected. It doesn't bother me but if you're a super light sleeper it might.
Utilities and WiFi are included, and a professional cleaning is an optional $95. Preference given in December to those who want the full three weeks.
I work in news in midtown, and have lots of books you're welcome to enjoy! This home is my island and sanctuary and I like it to feel homey. I take care of my space and I would hope to rent to someone who would do the same.
