We are traveling and looking for a responsible individual or couple to stay in our apartment. In return for taking care of our space, we’re offering a discounted rate for watering our plants.

This is a large, bright, top-floor 2-bedroom apartment in a Bed Stuy brownstone, filled with artistic details, featuring Turkish kitchen tiles, Moroccan light fixtures, and distressed Victorian woodwork. It’s fully furnished with the second bedroom set up as an office/nursery, perfect for working from home. The open-plan kitchen includes a dining area, and there's a large, separate living room with a piano.

Amenities include a dishwasher, in-unit washer and dryer, and an upright Steinway piano (in tune). You'll also have access to a shared garden on the first floor of the building with a fire pit and a sauna on the main floor.

The apartment is just a 10-minute walk from the J-M-Z subway lines and a block away from coffee shops and grocery stores. Located in Bed-Stuy, close to Bushwick and East Williamsburg, rent includes all utilities, with a special discount for your help with the birds and plants.

We are seeking someone extremely reliable and trustworthy. Please note, the building has a strict no smoking policy and we cannot accommodate any pets.

We are a family of three: a musician, a computational linguist, and an unemployed 15-month-old who spend a fair amount of time between BedStuy and Western MA where we are building an artists retreat.
