About this Service

I have a holistic approach and very much believe in building confidence, curiosity, and self sufficiency along with learning the material at hand. Lessons are tailor to what each student needs. I'm big on communicating with parents every step of the way.

Here is the list of subjects I cover:
Tests: ISEES, SHSAT, SAT, ACT, State Tests, SSAT, Regents (English Language Arts, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Living Environment, Physical Setting/Chemistry, Physical Setting/Earth Science, Global History and Geography, United States History and Government)

Subjects: All English and Language Arts; Sciences up through high school Biology and Chemistry; Mathematics all the way up through geometry and pre-calc; All history and gov classes; Spanish all levels (beginner to AP)

Other: ESL for Spanish speakers, and College Essays/Admissions

About this Lister

I grew up on the East Coast, Midwest and South. I graduated from Columbia University (I was on the Dean's List all 4 years) and am now based in NYC. I love traveling, reading and painting.

Background and Expertise

I have been a professional tutor for 10 years. Along with tutoring I also work in arts education and acting coaching.

Students of mine have attended Princeton, Stanford, University of Michigan, Amhurst and more. For high schools students have attended Stuyvesant HS, Brooklyn Tech, LaGuardia, Brooklyn Latin, Lehman, Columbia Secondary School, Riverdale, Horce Mann and have gone on to some great colleges.
