Winter and early Spring in Berlin? We're subletting our flat in Berlin - Wedding/Mitte from January 20th (earliest) to April 30th. The apartment has 3 rooms all separately accessible from the hallway, including a bedroom, a living room and a big, bright study which has a desk, cozy sofa and lots of books to read. We have a big bathroom with a bathtub. There are hardwood floors throughout the apartment and lots of light! The bedrooms have curtains and blinds, however. There's WiFi, a washing machine (but no dryer, two drying racks are provided though), and a well equipped kitchen. The apartment is on the 5th floor, surrounded by greenery and beautiful trees and has a lot of light. It is not accessible/barrier-free, as there are stairs to climb. We also have a ton of plants, so we'd love to have someone who could look after them while we're gone.

The flat is in a part of Wedding which is up-and-coming, with interesting cultural spaces around such as Savvy Contemporary, Silent Green, and Galerie Wedding. There are a few beautiful parks nearby including Rehberge and Schillerpark. There are several stores within a 5 minute walk, including a few organic grocery stores, drug stores, pharmacies, Turkish supermarkets, and regular and discount supermarkets. There are also a few nice bars and restaurants in the area (including an incredible Neapolitan pizza spot!). Every Saturday there's also a big flea market around the corner as well as a small farmer's market every Tuesday and Friday. The U-Bahn (Leopoldplatz) is 5 minutes by foot from our front door and is connected to two lines, there are also busses and a tram line near the flat as well.

We are looking for someone who wants to spend time enjoying Berlin for a few months, or even wants to work remotely from Berlin for a while. We have a sound system and tolerant neighbors, but would ask for relatively low levels of noise while staying in the flat. We also keep the flat tidy and clean and hope to find someone who will care for our beloved space. The cost of the place is 1600 Euros per month, all utilities included.

Bonus: We also have one medium sized bike you can use during your stay.
