I am looking for two roommates in a 3-bedroom apartment in Carroll Gardens. The apartment is located on Smith St. within walking distance to an abundance of restaurants, bars, and markets. The closest train stop is Carroll St on the F/G line. The apartment is on the second floor and has a washer/dryer, full size fridge, lots of cabinet space in the kitchen, and a living room. This will be my second year in this space and I absolutely adore the neighborhood. You can walk to Brooklyn Bridge Park and find endless things to do around here.
What I'm looking for in roommates:
- Professionals/creatives in their 20-30s, preferably do not WFH
** Option to take both bedrooms and use one as an office if you do WFH is the only exception
- Clean and tidy, minimalist-ish
- No smoking
- No couples
- 420 (smoking outside) and LGBTQIA+ friendly
About This Lister
I'm a 32 year old (she/her) Early Childhood Art teacher so I have a typical work schedule. Outside of my full-time job, I am a ceramicist so I don't tend to spend a whole lot of time at home in the mornings and afternoons. I take the initiative to clean and tidy up common spaces, so I'd love to find other people who do the same :) I am pretty considerate of others and almost always do my best to leave things better than I found them. I rarely host get togethers at the apartment but I am not against that if it's something you like to do, as long as we give each other a heads up. I like meeting new people and want to maintain a warm and welcoming home.
I have a dog, so unfortunately no other pets can be in the apartment. My dog loves people and if I'm not home, she's usually just lounging around and won't bother you.

Two bedrooms are available:
1. The smaller bedroom is $1200/month, has one window, and is about 65 sq ft. It currently fits a full size bed and dresser with some wiggle room.
2. The larger bedroom is $1420/month is about 98 sq feet with two windows.
We split the gas and electric bill, which has been around $100/month, depending on the season.
Move in is June 1st and you would be signing a 1-year lease. First month's rent and security deposit is required. You will also need to complete an application with the landlord/management company and be approved by them. They will ask for your proof of income and previous tax returns.
