Looking for someone to rent two rooms (ideal for someone who needs a bedroom and separate office/work space or simply wants their own abundance of space) in a beautiful apartment in a Victorian home in the Ditmas Park area of Midwood, Brooklyn (3 minutes from the Avenue H stop of the Q train, or 9 minutes walking from the Newkirk Plaza stop of the B/Q train).

This new roommate would take over the back bedroom (featuring a private half bathroom) in March for $1000. Once one roommate (Marianna) leaves in May (or sooner if needed), this person would take over the second flex bedroom as well — paying $1700 a month from there on out and sharing the apartment with the only other roommate (Moze). Photos of both rooms — both queen-sized bedrooms (one with a ton of natural light and the other with much less that works perfectly as a very large office, spare bedroom, or lounge) — are featured in the post, as well as photos of the common spaces in the apartment.

Rent could be prorated depending on move-in dates, we can be flexible to your move-in schedule, and the back bedroom can be partially furnished.

Beyond a ton of space, the apartment has so many perks: a gorgeous, large kitchen with Viking appliances and a dishwasher; 1.5 bathrooms; a living room area with beautiful original detailing; and an immense private porch. And, some pretty fun furniture (very open to new additions there, too).

Moze is a writer who works in the performing arts. Marianna is a journalist and photographer. Our landlords and their family (a couple with kids) live in the same building but in a completely separate unit. Looking for someone clean, respectful, kind, chill... all the good roommate things :) Unfortunately, there's a no pet policy
