Hello! I am looking to find a person to rent 2 rooms in a cute apartment on a tree lined, quiet street in Ridgewood. One room is a large bedroom space and the second room is a smaller space that would make an excellent office for someone who works from home sometimes, or even a nice space for yoga, etc. Both rooms have large closets and windows and get lots of light. There are hardwood floors throughout the apartment. The space is on the second floor of a 2 story walk up.
The apartment layout is such that the two rooms I have available are in the front of the apartment and are separated from my space by a large common area that includes a big living room with two skylights, a kitchen, and a shared bathroom. The layout makes the living situation semi-private. An additional plus is that the apartment is located one block from Grover Cleveland Park. Transportation wise, it is equidistant from the Dekalb L and Forrest Ave M stops. The B38 bus stop is a block away as well.
The landlords are also amazing and are always on top of fixing things. I've lived here for more than 10 years and have loved the place. I'm looking for someone responsible and kind and chill, someone who is up for investing in the apartment to fully bring out it's cuteness and comfort!
The rent is $1850.00/month plus half of the utilities (wifi/gas/electric). To secure the apartment, I'm asking for a security deposit and first month's rent up front as well as 2 references. The lease is 1 year and renewable after that.
Please email me and tell me a little bit about yourself! Looking forward to meeting you.
I am a sculptor and currently WFH as a project manager. I am sometimes away for work. My personal studio is nearby, so I spend a lot of time there. I'm in my mid 40's, I'm pretty quiet overall, and originally from the Midwest. I wouldn't describe myself as a neat freak but I do like to keep things relatively clean! I currently have a deep desire to redesign the living room. I attend mixed martial arts classes every week and am super into that :)
Pronouns are she/her.
