Hello! I have for rent a two bedroom house, with two bonus rooms that can be used as office space/s, studio/s, sewing room/s, or whatever extra space you may need. The house is about 1000 ft.², has two floors, two full bathrooms (one on each floor), a kitchen and a living room. It comes with two parking spaces on site as well. There is an outdoor patio, a small garden, and a washer and dryer is being installed.
The house is an ADU. It is very separate from the main house. I live in the main house and take care of everything on the property. The house is in Boyle Heights, it’s very close to the art district in downtown LA. And a short drive to Echo Park, Los Feliz, Silverlake and Highland Park. The subway is too short blocks away, and is close to the freeways 10, 60, 5, and the 101. The neighborhood is quiet, walkable, and community oriented. There is a public highschool across the street from the house, which adds a nice element.
It is available 1 Feb. Ideal candidate/s for the property would want to have a year lease.

I am an artist, author and professor at a university in Pomona, California. I have been a member of listings project since its early days. I have a son who is 17 and stays with me part time. He is also an artist and attend school in Pasadena.

Rental requirements
Please make available for the application process two references, a credit, history, and proof of income. First months rent, last month rent, and a security deposit is required. If you have a pet, there is a small one time fee for that pet.
That being said, I am a single person as the owner of the property, if you have a unique set of circumstances, I’m open to talking to you about them and getting a sense if the situation would be a fit for you.
Pets Policy
Pets are allowed, one small dog is max for dogs up to two cats for cats. Any other pet types I’m happy to talk with you about that. As indicated above there is a small fee for having a pet, which is $300. That is a one time fee only, and functions more like a security deposit, meaning it will be returned to you upon moving out if there is no damage caused by your pet!
