Hi there!

The front room of my apartment (furnished) is opening up October 1st. The furnished room is up one flight of steps that includes a twin size day bed (with storage underneath), vanity/desk, dresser, clothing rack, mini-fridge, laundry bag, and a comfy af lounge chair. You'll have more than enough clean towels available to you as well! This room also has access to the fire escape if you like outdoor spaces to chill on to have a cig smoke, or have a more personal disassociated stare with the sidewalk tree that you can see from the windows.

The space is availabe on a month-to-month or weekly basis.
I'm open to the month-to-month up to 3 months. My preferance for a roommate is a woman and/or LGBTQIA+ identified person, though a serious inquiry from any person is welcome.

Monthly rent is a flat rate of $1,700 including WiFi and utilities.
Please reach out if you are interested in renting the space weekly, whether for travel, a show, or as an intermediary space between another room, etc.

The apartment is railroad-ish, with the room available to rent in the front (the windows face the avenue), my personal room in the middle, and the kitchen and bathroom in the back of the apartment. The rooms are separated by french doors that have curtains for visual privacy.
While you do have your own entrance, you will regularly need to exit the room out of the apartment down the hall (short and sweet) to the other entrance of the apartment to access the kitchen and bathroom. (Please see photos to get a better idea of this!)

The apartment is located at 135th Street and 7th Avenue/Adam Clayton Powell Jr Blvd. The closest subway stops are the 135th B/C and 2/3 train. The M2 bus is right outside the apartment. Local gocery stores are nearby, with a Trader Joe's and Whole Foods located at 125th. The nearest laundromat is located 1/2 way down the street at 135th. Mini-fridge is available for your immediate food/bev needs, and anything else can be used for the main fridge, which just isn't large enough for two full-time people. Dishes need to be hand washed.

I have a background in theater, yoga, and clown, and work in nightlife and other flexible jobs.
