It is a furnished, cozy, 1 bedroom temporary sublet/apartment situated near Bleecker/6th Avenue in a classic West Village walk-up building (not a luxury building - but has wonderful reviews on OpenIgloo).

The unit is two flights up and size-wise is perfect for a single person or a couple. I pride myself in cleanliness so space will be given to you with a high attention to detail to that end.

🌟The bedroom features a Queen-sized Saatva mattress (with mattress cover/protector) on a remote-powered adjustable frame (should you choose to sit-up in bed/read etc), a dresser, and a nightstand. Both the bedroom and living room are equipped with AC units - LG in bedroom/Midea in living room – essential to beat the current heat!

🌟The living room - Includes a 55” Sony TV with a Roku Stick, a sofa/futon that can be extended for relaxing, ample storage with additional dressers, a separate storage for your shoes, and behind the sliding mirror doors, there is ample closet-space along the length of the living room. Also an IKEA solid wood collapsible table.

🌟 Kitchen - The kitchen, though compact, is fully stocked with essentials including microwave, toaster oven, blender, coffeemaker. It has been newly outfitted this past week with brand new Stainless Steel cookware set, new silverware, plates, bowls, Electric kettle. Quality items provided.

🌟Bathroom: Brand New Sink/Cabinet/Vanity installed this past month. And bathtub freshly refinished yesterday! You'll be the first to enjoy! :)

🌟Rooftop Access - One of the best features of this building is the access to a rooftop deck, offering beautiful views of the village—a perfect spot for a lemonade, sunbathing, and just enjoying a nice evening enjoying city lights.

🌟Laundry - In the basement of the building – with a dry cleaners/wash/fold across the street - a big win in the Village. :)

🌟The location is unbeatable, with iconic spots like Washington Square Park, Hudson River Park, IFC Theater, Blue Note Jazz, comedy clubs, and NYU just steps away. The area is also home to fantastic restaurants like Palma, Artusi, Rosemary's, with many cozy coffee shops, grocery stores, and fitness gyms/studios nearby/walking distance.

🌟I'm a Care Manager working at the intersection of mental health/patient advocacy/social justice (she/her pronouns). My partner (he/him) is in Tech. We have a great relationship with the building's wonderful friendly, responsive super. The building is well-managed, and neighbors are friendly too. I’m ultimately looking for someone warm, kind, responsible, and a good communicator who will appreciate and respect this space, neighbors, and surroundings. So a good fit is important 😀. We’ve always been a non-smoking/shoes-off household and it would be awesome to find someone similar in this regard.
