Welcome to this charming studio in the heart of the West Village, around the corner from the West 4th station, providing easy access to the ACE and BDFM trains. Despite being centrally located, the apartment is nestled on historic Gay St. with minimal car traffic.
The studio is perfect for recharging after a day of NYC adventures (or to de-stress after work), featuring a cozy couch, and a Roku TV.
There's a well-equipped workstation, with an ergonomic chair, an adjustable height desk and reliable 200+ MBps WiFi.
The kitchen is small but well-appointed with lots of stainless steel pots and pans and a gas range, oven, and microwave.
There is a large walk-in closet as well as a smaller coat closet.
There is a communal laundry room one floor below.
The studio is located in an elevator building. However, unfortunately the apartment itself is not wheelchair accessible, the door to the bathroom and closets are too small.
I am subleasing the apartment since I'm moving in with my partner. I'm seeking someone responsible and communicative who will take good care of my things (especially the white couch!)
I've lived in NYC for about 6 years now and love it! I love to swim and escape to the beach or nature when I can. I've loved living in this studio and being able to explore the city so easily while shortening my commute time a ton. I hope I can find someone who will get a similar joy from the space
I am the current tenant
A security deposit of $2000 will be required as well as signing a lease agreement. I may do a background/credit check.
Internet, heat, and hot water is included in the rent. Electricity and gas will be charged separately (usually around $75 total).
Unfortunately, no pets are allowed.
The lease for the apartment is up at the end of September with the possibility to extend if you are interested. Priority will be given to folks who are able to sublet until September.
