Welcome to Millett Farm where we're offering our lovingly restored, 19th century post and beam home for rent. The house is available from January 1st.

This handcrafted, three bedroom converted corn barn is set in a grassy rural compound comprising a separate farm house, a cottage and Dutch Barn, with 12 treed acres beyond and a large swimming pond with a magnificent resident Heron. We're located in LaGrange NY, a few minutes by car from shopping, Vassar and Marist colleges and the Culinary Institute; and 12 minutes from Poughkeepsie train station.

The home is fully furnished and laid out over three floors with expansive decks on two levels and hardwood floors in the living areas and bedrooms. The bathroom and kitchen are tiled. On the second floor, there are two bedrooms and a 4 pc. bathroom. The stairs to this level open to a bright, library-landing. The third bedroom occupies the entire length and breadth of the house on the third floor. We've designed the home around its original features for modern day living, including a laundry room and large, fully equipped open plan kitchen. The space was originally crafted to house artists and writers in our former incarnation as an Art Colony.

This is a well-maintained compound on a quiet road and we are looking for tenants who will enjoy and respect this very private, bucolic setting.

We ask for one month's rent as a security deposit. The $2,800.00 pm rent includes electricity. Tenants are responsible for other utilities and Internet. We'll consider shares and pets. We'll ask for references and a credit check.
