Kasha Cooper

Living in the Berkshires of Massachusetts, Kasha Cooper has had the privilege of being surrounded by many creative people. She states that there is no Perfect way to be an artist and Art only becomes interesting when you find your unique path. Being motivated by the many aspects of her daily life and having a profound love for fashion and figure drawing, Cooper has been able to finally find her path. She creates Stylistic Portraits (people and clothing) starting with works of herself. These works hint on issues of self-love, reflection and the many interests that she and others have.
We all have a story.  Cooper shares it through perspectives of vulnerability and also that of a strong individual. Figure drawing is very vulnerable, you can’t hide your imperfections. She finds that with clothing too. Cooper wants to show that clothing is more about your style and your uniqueness, it is the outward expression of how we see ourselves. You Decide!
