Hello! I am subletting my apartment for the months of January, February, and some of March. The move-in and move-out dates are flexible.

--The apartment--

This 1-bedroom was recently renovated with a new kitchen and wood flooring. The apartment is divided into three rooms (kitchen, living room, bedroom), each of which has it's own window — lots of light! I've furnished the apartment with room to relax. There is high-speed wifi and a drafting desk setup for your wfh or creative needs.

The apartment is on the second floor of the building. There is no elevator.

--The neighborhood--

The apartment is located in the historic Astral Building (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Astral_Apartments) right on the idyllic Franklin St. in Greenpoint. On the ground floor is the incredible Bar Americano, and nearby are tons of cute bars, restaurants, and coffee shops (let me know if you want recommendations!).

It is a very quaint neighborhood home to many families. It feels clean, and respectful.

The closest subway station is the Greenpoint Ave. G Train stop. Commuting into the city takes ~30 minutes. There is also the Greenpoint ferry stop two blocks away that will take you to East 34th street in ~20 minutes total.

I grew up in Berkeley, California and have been living in Brooklyn for 4 years. I moved to Greenpoint at the beginning of 2023 and have been absolutely loving it.

I am a product designer and do freelance design and development work on the side. I love listening to music, dancing, and playing tennis. I am currently in the process of applying to master's programs in Industrial Design.
