Hi everyone! I'm looking for a roommate to fill the second bedroom of my sunny two-bedroom apartment in Windsor Terrace, right on the line with South Slope.

Basics:
Rent is $1200/month
Utilities (gas & electric) & internet are ~$100/month
Start date is Feb 15, lease runs through Sept 1st (open to shorter-term, through June 1st)

The room:
Your room is 7x15 with a big window that gets lovely afternoon light and indirect light all day. There's plenty of room for a full bed, a desk, a bookcase, and a wardrobe – the landlord has a wardrobe in the room already, which you can keep or they can remove. The room will be unfurnished (aside from the wardrobe).

The apartment:
We're on the top floor, with big windows on three sides of the apartment – it's bright and sunny all day. Our apartment has a spacious living/dining area, a big kitchen with plenty of counter space, and a bathroom with a tub/shower. It’s also got gorgeous wood trim & hardwood floors. Our building is small and family-owned, and the neighborhood is very peaceful. We're just a 6 minute walk from the 15st-Prospect Park F/G and a 10 minute walk from two of the best greenspaces in the city – Prospect Park and Greenwood Cemetery. Unfortunately, no pets, and no bike storage or laundry in the building – but there's an area to lock your bike outside (many do in this neighborhood) and a wonderful laundromat a couple blocks away.

About you:
I'm seeking a roommate who wants a peaceful home – someone tidy, communicative, and friendly, but chill. I like hosting friends occasionally and hopefully you do too. Ideally, you work hybrid or in-person (not fully remote).

The application:
The landlord requires approval – so, good credit & stable annual income of at least 40x rent – and one month security.

I'm Lucy (she/her) - you'll be living with me. I'm in my mid-twenties, working as a strategy consultant (in the office 4-5 days/week). I'm tidy, considerate, and responsible - but also quite easygoing :) I love spending time in the park, seeing live music, cooking, fiber arts, etc. I also have a NYT weekend paper subscription – maybe between the two of us we can finally solve the Sunday crossword...
