Beautiful large sunny room available in Long Island City, only two stops to get to Manhattan! It is located in a two-bedroom 2nd floor apartment, with furnished and decorated common spaces. Very conveniently located to multiple train stations, grocery stores including Trader Joes, Target, and restaurants. This apartment is my home and I love it! I have lived here for 8 years. This is a month to month agreement. You won't be on the lease-- you'll be signing a roommate agreement.

You have a large beautiful room with wood floors that is approx 18ftx12ft, and is quite special because it can partition into 2 rooms with a sliding door. Oftentimes people will use the smaller room as a bedroom and the larger room as an office/personal living room/artist studio. When partitioned off the larger room is around 12ftx12ft, and the smaller room 12ftx6ft. Your room includes permanent furniture such as an AC unit, full bed frame, large dresser, track lighting, trash bin, and gets gorgeous light with 3 eastern facing windows. The room is down the hall at the other end of the apartment and has a lot of privacy.

CLEANING/UTILITIES
Internet, heat, water, and cleaning are all included. You don't pay for electricity unless the electricity bill is above the monthly average, then you will have to pay whatever the amount over the average is, for example during summer months your room is the only room with AC.

ROOMMATE REQUIREMENTS
This isn’t a party household– I see the apartment as a place to focus on work and study. It's a quiet, clean, and peaceful environment to rest and relax in. I am looking to live with someone who has more of an introverted lifestyle. I'm seeking a roommate who wants to stay long-term, who is tidy, independent, responsible, values solitude, rarely has people over, and socializes outside the apartment. Women who are in their late 30's, or 40s and 50's are encouraged to apply. Women Only Apply!

NO SMOKING ALLOWED
Absolutely no smoking allowed. This includes but is not limited to cigarettes, weed, vaping ect. If move in and do not follow this boundary you will be given notice to move out and your deposit will not be returned.
