My roommate and I are subletting our 2-bedroom apartment in Bedford-Stuyvesant (Stuyvesant Heights) from July to end of August while we spend the summer with our families in Europe. The apartment is located on the second floor of a fully renovated townhouse in a beautiful, historic neighborhood known for its tree-lined streets, peaceful atmosphere, and vibrant community. We truly love it here!

My roommate, Carla, and I are both investigative environmental journalism fellows at Columbia University's Journalism School. After a year in Manhattan, we’re so happy we made the move to Bed-Stuy and feel lucky to have found this cozy, modern and light-filled apartment. I’m from Germany, Carla is from Spain, and we’ve lived all over the world in recent years. We both love plants, staying active, exploring the amazing local restaurants, and cooking at home!

We’d love to get to know you, so we’re happy to set up a visit or a quick call. To keep things simple, we’re asking for a $500 deposit to ensure our home is just as we left it—fully refundable when we’re back!

Pets Policy

Our neighbors on the first and third floors have pets—a dog and a cat—so while we don’t have any ourselves, bringing a pet shouldn’t be a problem!
