P/T Admin Assistant/ Asst Property Manager
We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Part Time Assistant Property Manager: home office in Prospect Heights. This position will play a key role in supporting our property management operations and administrative functions, ensuring efficiency and the highest level of service to both the property manager & our tenants. This is not a remote or hybrid position, but the hours are flexible- a minimum of 12 hours are required, ideally 16 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in managing property operations, including tenant relations, maintenance requests, and lease administration.
* Coordinate with tenants, vendors and contractors to maintain projects, update forms & files both digital and physical.
* Support the Property Manager with correspondence and phone calls.
* Prepare and distribute communication materials to tenants, various municipality agencies where correspondence & compliance is required and for filing. As well, updating contacts, calendars, and employee manual “how to’s”.
* Provide excellent customer service, addressing queries and concerns in a timely manner.
* Must have Google Suite experience, some Quickbooks experience helpful but not necessary.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in property management or administrative support required.
* Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
* Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills, capable of multitasking, & building relationships with tenants, contractors, accountant, etc.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Quickbooks.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a sometimes fast-paced environment.
* Flexible working hours
* Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20- $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 hours per week
