Spacious and bright 1 bdr apartment in Bed Stuy for rent! 2nd floor of a brownstone from 1874. 3 minutes walk to the Utica train stop which connects you to the A or C train and can be an easy 30 minutes to Manhattan. Sun comes into bedroom in morning and then into the living room in the afternoon. Some days I don't even want to leave the apartment because it's so lovely! The apartment is filled with charming old details and beautiful old hardwood parquet floors. The bathroom has a large bathtub.
The neighborhood is lovely and historic and there are some wonderful bars and restaurants within walking distance.

I am a musician who travels often for work, so when I'm at home it's my sanctuary! I take pride in my apt and all the lovely things I have here that I have collected over the years. It's a cosy haven, with a radio for classical music in the kitchen, a projector for movies at night, and a huge bathtub.

I'm always sad to leave my place, but I would be happy to know that someone is there looking after it and enjoying it. I used to visit NYC a lot before I moved here and I know how hard it is to find a good place to stay. The landlords live below and they are lovely. There is one tenant who lives above and I never see her. It's a very quiet building. I will be traveling while you stay but I will be reachable always by phone or email if you needed anything.

These dates specified here are for my next trip, but I am often going away and will be away again for half of June and most of July and August and October. If there is anyone out there who can be flexible with dates but is looking for a pretty regular NY sublet, let's talk! That would be my ideal situation and we could negotiate a better price if there was someone who wanted a regular thing.
