Hi there, a friend and I have found a beautiful and spacious 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath space in Bedstuy and are looking for a 3rd party to join us! The turnover is very quick so we would need someone who is ready and able to move in and join the lease ASAP! This place is a duplex with 3 bedrooms and bathrooms on the top floor and a half bath on the bottom. There is a W/D located on the 2nd floor and extra storage. The kitchen and bathrooms are fully updated with a modern and sleek design! There is a dishwasher! All bedrooms can fit a full or queen sized bed along with extra space for a dresser and have full closet spaces. The apartment is just a 4 min walk from the J train. There are lots of restaurants, grocery stores, Citi Bikes and shopping just up the block in the heart of Bedstuy!

About This Lister

Both of us are male and female, 24 yr old black artists born and raised in NY and CT. We are currently residing in Crown Heights and are looking to upgrade our living situation. One of us currently works as an Elementary Music teacher, the other as a Private Music Teacher as well as a recording and touring artists during our high seasons! I (F) am a vocalist and piano player, huge music lover (living with a fellow music lover would be a huge plus),vinyl collector and have a deep love for the color brown lol. I usually keep to myself after a busy string of being social and look for home to be a recharge place. I just moved back to the city after living in Michigan for school a few years ago and want to settle into a place that fits all my needs. I also spin vinyl and love to cook and draw or create art and host dinner parties for my friends and folks. I can say I’m an introverted extrovert but most would describe me as chill, friendly and a good vibe!

About living with us:

We genuinely take a lot of pride in being a solid roommates. We prioritize really good communication and wanting to create a home situation where everyone feels seen. We are looking for equally clean and communicative roommates. Also looking for roommates who are cool with lots of music. As musicians we practice a lot and listen/collect records as well as having an upright piano too. We are always respectful when playing music and/or having musician friends over. We travel a lot during the touring season so we will be in and out for some months at a time.

My (F) family lives in the area so I might have a parent or 2 over for dinner or a quick hang but they are very respectful about showing up unannounced and often bring lots of West Indian food to share!

A community oriented home where friends of roommates are welcome and guests from OOT can enjoy a stay every now and again will be the most ideal! We are the type to clean while we cook and be proactive in making our home feel like a HOME. Creating an environment where folks can be seen and comfortable is our goal when living with others. Super into interior decorating and finding creative ways to have storage. Other than that we are fairly easy/enjoyable to live with and desire a healthy balance of cohabiting and being out of each other’s way while being able to rely and support each other.
