Located on the top floor of a six-story elevator building, the apartment has tons of light and the building opens out to Prospect Park! Included are all necessary amenities (Wifi, heat, AC, laundry in the building, trash removal, etc) and all household items you would need (e.g. dishware, cookware, cooking supplies, bathroom supplies, towels, bed linen, etc.). Fully furnished with lovely modern furniture and custom art.
Prospect Park with its incredible lawns, lakes, and nearby skating rink, include many activities like boating, fishing, riding the Carousel and every weekend is “Smorgasburg”, with open-air food booths. https://www.prospectpark.org You are minutes away from the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens, Brooklyn Art Museum, main branch of the Brooklyn Library and Brooklyn Zoo. The neighborhood, Prospect Lefferts Garden (also sometimes called Flatbush or Little Caribbean) is incredibly diverse and welcoming with lots of coffee shops, restaurants, and bars. Lincoln Market is our local grocery store with everything you could need and is only 5 minutes away.
The subway station is a short walk, and you can be in Manhattan in 20 minutes. (You can hear and see the train from your window; kind of a quintessential NYC experience!) The Q is fast, with access to Chinatown, midtown Manhattan and the upper East side. The B, which runs weekdays, gets you to Soho, Greenwich Village, midtown Manhattan, the upper West side, Harlem, and even the Bronx. There’s also a Shuttle train that connects you to other great neighborhoods in Brooklyn - Prospect Heights, Crown Heights, and Bedstuy. Right near the train station is a CitiBike station, where you can rent and ride bikes anywhere in the city. Easy Transportation!
The Super lives on property and easily available, if needed. My daughter and her husband live one floor below and will also be available for anything you might need.
I’m looking for someone to sublet for the full 3 month period June 1st - August 31st, but I am flexible on the dates. $2,500 per month.
I moved to Brooklyn just over 4 years ago from Denver, CO which I lived with my then husband and two children for over 30 years. Prior to that I lived in Chicago were I was born and raised for over 30 years.
After the pandemic (and getting divorced) I moved to Brooklyn and found this amazing beautifully renovated apartment one floor above my daughter and her husband with their two children.
I have my own Event Planning business for over 20 years in Colorado and prior to that was an Interior Designer in Chicago.
