My loft apartment in Red Hook is available while I am away. Dates somewhat flexible, utilities included.
Huge window, wood floors, brick walls, piano, movie projector with large screen. Everything you might need in the kitchen. Marble dining table, classic designer furniture, antiques, art, and quality built-in plywood shelving. Full blackboard with hagoromo chalk if you are that kind of nerd.
On the 3rd floor (with elevator) of a beautiful old factory building. Red Hook is my favorite place in Brooklyn. We are 3 blocks from the water and you can ride the ferry to Wall St. Ten min walk to the subway, or, maybe, you can borrow my electric scooter.
Sleeping arrangements are non-standard but very comfortable: there is a daybed upstairs and a real Japanese futon sleeping system for two people downstairs.
Physicist with serious design/art tendencies.
Renting
This is my home and I'm fussy about its condition but open to discussing how to make both of us comfortable about the sublet.
