This is a room available in a charming, bright, second-floor 2 bed, 2 bath in Bed-Stuy, available 11/1. It is perfectly situated on beautiful, tree-lined Madison street, ~10 mins walk from the G at Bedford-Nostrand, the A/C at Nostrand Ave and the C at Franklin Ave. It has a combination washer/dryer in the unit and mini-split AC/Heat systems in each room. The bedroom fits a queen sized bed (though definitely more spacious with a full sized). The apartment was gut-renovated earlier this year, so everything, floors, cabinets etc. is brand new. Art Shack cafe is right around the corner, and there are tons of bars and restaurants near by, with Tomkins St a 15 min walk away. While small, this apartment is beautiful, has everything you need, and is in a fantastic location.

Ideally looking for a woman in her 20s or 30s who is clean and responsible and works either hybrid or fully in office.

There is an opportunity to join the lease at the end of June for another year, but until then it will be a sublet with a sublease.

Here is a bio from your potential roommate: I’m Jordana, 28, F, originally from Jamaica but moved here for college in Minnesota. Though my family lives in Florida so both places are home. I’m in environmental consulting, specifically renewable energy. Mostly work from home or wherever I may be travelling during the year. In my free time, I like to play tennis (I started learning last year), go out with friends and maybe pick up other hobbies.

Notes:
- Jordana’s workspace is set up in the living room, so Mon - Fri she is usually working from there 9-5 ish. The common area is still available to you during these times.
- The washer/dryer works well for washing and only sort of well for drying, I tend to hang-dry my shirts and pants in the living room and use the dryer for the rest
- The couch will move with me, but you can discuss with Jordana how to furnish the living room area
