We offer for exchange our beautiful and cosy apartment (860 sq feet, 80 sq meters) in the heart of Berlin, Germany, in the district of Prenzlauer Berg. It’s a bright, quiet three room apartment with a balcony, a large kitchen and bathroom - window, bathtub, shower. Located on the second floor and in a green courtyard. The neighbors are friendly and quiet.

We would like to swap two rooms and to store our belongings in the third one - but we are open to various offers and can negotiate on this matter. We are looking for an apartment to swap in a similar size.

The neighborhood is simultaneously calm and lively. It’s full of cafes, a large variety of restaurants and bars, parks and playgrounds. There is a great English language bookshop, and English language yoga studio, organic food markets on Thursdays and Saturdays, all just around the corner. A little further up is a planetarium and an indoor public swimming pool.

The public transportation connections are very convenient. We are only 10 minutes by tram from Alexanderplatz, which is served by the subway - underground (U Bahn) and above ground (S bahn) as well as trams and regional trains.

The apartment is ideal for a small family, a couple and/or a single person. We are offering a one year exchange - August 15th 2025 - September 1st 2026. The dates are negotiable and an extension is possible.

We are a family of 3. My partner is a writer and filmmaker and I’m a photographer, our daughter will attend a high school for arts in New York this coming September. We love our home in Berlin and have lived here for 10 years. We hope to find someone to take good care of it, as we will the home that we swap for.
