My roommate of 2 years is moving out and I'm looking to fill his room in a 2 bedroom 1 bath walkup (top floor) in Boerum Hill block and a half from Barclays, Hoyt Schermerhorn and Downtown Brooklyn (near almost every train line - incredibly convenient location, many local bars, restaurants, groceries, and shopping all within a 10-15 min walk). Our apartment is already furnished and has in-unit washer-dryer, dishwasher, big living spaces, sunlights (top floor), south-facing windows in a big living space with tons of sunlight and plants. The room is the bigger of the two rooms, has a big closet, can fit a queen bed, and has a porch door (no full porch but door opens fully).

The room is $2050 + utilities - wifi, gas, and electricity (75-$150/mo depending on season). Our landlord and property manager are responsive and take care of the building (only two units in building, downstairs neighbors have lived there for over a decade). The apartment is smoke and pet free. I'm looking for a roommate to join the lease for March 1, 2025- March 1, 2026.

I'm a program manager for an NYC nonprofit working with high school and college students. I've lived in Brooklyn for the past 7+ years in different apartments and originally from Westchester, NY. I work on a hybrid schedule so I'm in office for a few days and remote others, often home on weeknights and some of the weekend. I love cooking/exploring new foods, restaurants and neighborhoods around NYC, watching TV (Sopranos and Hacks at the moment), movies, and sometimes sports like premier league soccer.

Looking for someone who is kind-hearted, clean with the shared spaces, chill, and is preferably a guy in his 20s/30s but I'm open.
