The Jewelry Production Manager / Brand Manager will be responsible for overseeing the jewelry production process from custom orders to wholesale inventory, while also playing a key role in developing and executing the brand strategy. This position requires an individual with excellent organizational skills, a passion for design, and the ability to lead projects that elevate the brand's presence both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Management:
• Custom Projects:
• Provide project quotes and manage all aspects of custom jewelry orders.
• Track and manage deposits and costs associated with each project.
• Oversee GIA reports (digitally & physically) for custom and collection pieces.
• Generate invoices and finalize prices for custom projects, ensuring smooth transactions via Shopify.
• Wholesale Management:
• Handle email correspondence with stores regarding inventory, orders, and invoices.
• Create and manage wholesale orders for stores, keeping track of jewelry consigned at retail locations.
• Monitor and process invoices for wholesale orders, ensuring timely payments.
• Production Oversight:
• Track and manage jewelry molds and masters for production.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain up-to-date Shopify listings.
• Decide how much inventory to order, and place orders for necessary components.
• Drop components off at the right vendors, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery.
• Perform quality control to ensure all pieces meet Selina King Jewelry’s standards.
• Manage vendor invoices and ensure payments are made upon project completion.
• Diamond & Gemstone Management:
• Oversee diamond and gemstone procurement, making decisions on what to purchase based on quality and customer needs.
• Manage open orders for larger diamonds and handle payments once approved.
• Plating & Shipping:
• Prepare plating orders and manage the packing and shipping of plated items.
• Occasionally inspect completed plated pieces for quality before final approval.
Brand Management:
• Brand Strategy & Identity:
• Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure the brand's mission and values are reflected in every product and customer touchpoint.
• Assist in defining and evolving the visual identity of Selina King Jewelry.
• Creative Direction & Photoshoots:
• Develop mood boards and work closely with photographers, stylists, and modeling agencies to execute photoshoots.
• Organize the jewelry for shoots and oversee its handling, styling, and photography.
• Select images for retouching and ensure that final photos align with the brand's aesthetic.
• Upload finalized photos to Shopify for product listings and marketing materials.
• Product Listings & Shopify Management:
• Calculate retail pricing for new jewelry designs and create spec sheets.
• Create and manage product listings on Shopify, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
• Monitor and analyze sales on Shopify, keeping track of trends and inventory needs.
• Marketing & Collaboration:
• Coordinate with magazines, stylists, and influencers for jewelry loans and collaborations.
• Work with the marketing team to plan campaigns that elevate the brand’s presence across multiple platforms.
• Stay informed on industry trends and competitors to help position the brand for growth.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in jewelry production and brand management (at least 2 years in a similar role).
• Strong understanding of jewelry production processes, including casting, setting, and finishing.
• Expertise in project management, from inception to completion, including vendor management and cost tracking.
• Strong knowledge of Shopify for inventory management, product listings, and order fulfillment.
• Proficient in managing budgets, pricing, and vendor relationships.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, stores, vendors, and influencers.
• Passion for jewelry design and a keen eye for quality and detail.
• Experience in developing creative marketing strategies and brand identities.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with a focus on efficiency and excellence.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in luxury jewelry or custom jewelry production.
