When responding to this ad, please introduce yourself and tell us how you envision using the space!
This is a human-scaled, owner-occupied building. Current tenants include artists and commercial photographers. But the space is ideal for many kinds of uses, including general office use, a showroom, light manufacturing, gallery space, etc.
The space is tranquil, with beautiful golden light.
The rent includes heat, water and taxes. Electric bill is separate.
We are visual artists who work in video and installation. We bought the building in 2003 and have worked in and operated it since then. Recently, we are only in New York (and the building) for part of the year as we travel for our work and other reasons. We are therefore partially relying on help from a small management company and superintendent, but remain very, very hands-on. This includes face-to-face meetings via Zoom (or equivalent).
