I am subletting my lovely apartment from March 15-June 15!

It's in a highly accessible location (two blocks from the Nassau G, a few minutes walk to the Bedford L); near tons of bars, restaurants, and cafes; across the street from the laundromat; a block from McCarren Park.

You will be in your own studio, with your own entrance and your own bathroom. The kitchen, which is between my and my "roommate's" studio, is the only shared space. She has her own entrance to her side, and her own bathroom. So imagine a railroad apartment with separate entrances and bathrooms, just a shared kitchen.

My room has all you need: a comfortable bed; reading and TV area; blackout curtains; fans; empty closet and dresser for your things; books available to borrow; and a full bathroom.

In the kitchen, we *really* like to keep things clean. This means cleaning up as you go, not leaving dishes in the sink, and sticking to your designated twice-a-month cleaning day. We like to compost, so bonus points if you're into that!

My kitchen-mate and I are very considerate of each other's space, and try to keep quiet and be respectful when using the shared kitchen.

You'll be on the hook for rent, internet, and utilities (which should amount to about another $100 per month, on top of the rent).

For the location, and for basically having your own place, this is truly a steal! Especially great for travel nurses, folks visiting the city for cherry blossom season, or anyone planning a staycation.
