My husband and I are looking for a minimum one year lease apartment for May 1st (potentially April 15th if needed).
Ideally in Brooklyn Heights/Cobble Hill or Greenpoint but are open to anywhere with good variety of subway/transportation access, greenery and nice walking streets as long as the space is right.
We would like to find an apartment that has some character and history, not a new reno, preferably not on a major street, 1 or 2 bedroom (also open to a large studio), hardwood floors, unfurnished, and with good natural light. Ideally under 3,000/month. Must be pet friendly.
We would prefer to rent direct from a landlord/owner (no brokers).
Other areas we are open to: Carroll Gardens, Fort Greene/Clinton Hill, Park Slope, Prospect Heights, Williamsburg, West Village, East Village.
Hi!
Our names are Chloë and Noah, we are in our late twenties and have a sweet, well-behaved, non-shedding (hypoallergenic) cockapoo named Bodan. Noah is a cinematographer and I am a risk analyst. We currently live in Williamsburg but we want to move somewhere that is a little quieter or has more character and greenery. We are both very interested in politics, design, arts, film, and architecture. We are quiet, respectful, detail oriented and love to make a home that reflects us as individuals.
We have great landlord references, credit scores and are happy to provide any documents needed :)
Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or even if your apartment isn’t within the listed areas, we are open as long as it is within a 40 minute commute to midtown for work.
