I’m heading to South America for academic work and am looking to sublet my charming 1st-floor railroad-style apartment in the heart of Ridgewood. The apartment is available from January 2-6 and January 12-22 (with the exception of January 6-12 when I’ll have visitors).
This cozy, relaxing home features three bedrooms as shown in the photos and is located in a quiet, family building with 3 floors. The apartment has a beautiful garden and peaceful views, with plenty of natural light. The space is filled with plants, books, and unique decor from all over the world, giving it a warm, welcoming vibe—perfect for anyone looking for a peaceful place to stay when visiting New York,
You’ll be just a short walk from the best spots in Ridgewood, including Rolo’s, Topos Bookstore, and Cholita Café.
A Few Things to Know:
The apartment is railroad-style, meaning the rooms flow one after the other, creating a spacious feel despite its compact size.
I have a few plants that need a little TLC—just a simple watering once a week, which I’m sure you’ll find easy to manage.
The apartment is fully furnished, with plenty of cozy touches to make you feel at home.
I’m a college professor and recent PhD graduate, currently conducting research in South America for my new book
