Looking for a creative workspace to write, draw, rehearse, sew, take photos, edit video, scheme? Work remotely but don't want to work from home? Am looking to share this amazing Brooklyn studio space and am open to different arrangements and discussing what 'sharing' looks like.
I'm not there everyday and rarely work past 6 pm. When I am there I'm often on the computer / zoom, stretching, moving, filming,
300+ sq feet plus common area for bike parking with a fridge, toaster oven, espresso / coffee maker.
Secure space at Park Ave. + Nostrand (G train to Flushing) with 24 hr access, below street level ~10 stairs. High ceilings + great natural light.
$700/month includes wifi, electricity, heat.
Photos are of the current set up but I'm flexible! Paintings on the walls are by the painter in the studio space next door, but don't have to be hung on the walls. There is also a barre, some foam flooring, and a decent piece of marley that we could put down more permanently. Could hang black out curtains if needed.
Available March 1, through at least June 30. Month to month OK for the right person.
I'm Laura. I am an artist (choreographer, filmmaker, performer) who has a full time admin job (marketing) for an arts organization.
I use she/her/hers pronouns.
I will be the person showing the space, and hold the lease.
I am typically in the studio Mondays and Fridays 10-6pm, and on and off throughout the weekend. I'm open to conversation about how to best share the space given the needs of my studio mate and myself.
I rent this space
Available to show the space Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Mondays.
No wood dust / aerosols / fumes.
Available March 1 through at least June 30, at which time I'll decide whether to resign the lease.
Month to month OK.
