Hi there! I'm looking to find a sublet for my 1 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment. It's perfectly situated between Bushwick and Ridgewood, and easily accessible to everything that both neighborhoods have to offer. My apartment is available for sublet from early-February through mid-April (flexible start/end dates).
Highlights:
- Rent: $600 per week or $2,400 per month (includes utilities)
- Transportation: 10 minutes from Jefferson St. L station; 5 minutes from Q54 bus stop
- Location: DM for approximate location!
About The Space:
- Entrance: Located on the first floor in a 3-story / 6-unit building. There is no elevator, and one set of stairs leading up to the apartment
- Bedroom: Queen bed, window a/c unit, TV (projector)
- Living room: Standing desk with computer monitor (perfect for remote work), breakfast bar, plants, couch, TV
- Kitchen: Fully equipped with all foundational appliances except dishwasher (toaster oven, air fryer, blender, etc.)
- Closet space: 1 full closet at your disposal
- No washer/dryer, but Cypress Laundromat is a family-owned laundromat 5 minutes away
About the Neighborhood:
- Surrounded by great restaurants, bars, cafes, music venues, vintage/thrift stores, art galleries, etc. More than happy to share all this info with you!
- 3 block radius around apartment is quiet + residential, and lively as you get closer to Wyckoff St.
- I'm also happy to leave you my Absolute Power Fitness (located on Wyckoff St.) gym membership key if that's of interest
- 25 minutes to Union Square
Landmarks:
- 0.5 miles from Brooklyn Mirage, Elsewhere, Knockdown Center, House of Yes, Maria Hernandez Park, etc.
I love having a place to myself and living in the Ridgewood/Bushwick area! My job is remote first so I spend most of the work week at home, but occasionally go into the office in Manhattan. I'm a big skier and will be out West doing exactly that in February + March.
Current Tenant
I'm looking for someone who is looking to sublet for a minimum of 2 months
A $2,400 security deposit is required to hold the apartment and will be returned within 2 weeks of move out based on the condition of the apartment.
Rent is $600 per week / $2,400 per month which already includes utilities (internet, heat, water, and electricity). Rent for the month is due on the 1st of each month. Cash or Venmo accepted as payment.
I'd also like to learn a little bit about you before your stay! Would love to show you the space in person or meet for coffee, otherwise if you wouldn't mind sending me a short bio + hopping on a quick call that would be great -- I just want to make sure I'm leaving my apartment in good hands :)
If it's a good fit, I'll reach back out to you and request the following info:
- Copy of government-issued ID
- Proof of income (last 2 pay stubs is fine)
- 1-2 References and/or AirBnB reviews
Looking forward to hearing from yall!
