Hi there!
My husband and I recently had our first child, a baby girl this past November. We gave up our beloved apartment in Carroll Gardens where we lived for 7 years, as we had finally outgrown the space.
Our ideal home would be a 2 bedroom, 2 bed + office, or 3 bedroom preferably with hardwood floors, a generous-for-NYC sized kitchen (we love to cook!), lots of natural light (plant enthusiasts). Bonus if it happens to have some charm or special features such as high ceilings, a fireplace, or outdoor space. I commute throughout Manhattan, so easy access to train lines is also ideal.
Dishwasher and an in-unit washer/dryer (or building) preferred, but not a deal breaker. We are flexible in terms of furnished vs unfurnished, and happy to chat about any further details.
We are looking for two possible scenarios - 1) long term rental or 2) flex sublet until we can find a longer term solution. We are looking primarily on the UWS, morningside heights, and in LIC for an easy commute for both of our families, and an easy drive to the Catskills where we have a home, and spend many of our weekends. We are also open to other areas and neighborhoods.
Our short-term sublet ends in the beginning of May, which is when we would hope to move in to a new space, though we could make arrangements if needed.
We are incredibly clean, respectful, and reliable tenants who have lived in the NYC area for ~15 years.
We’re open to unique arrangements such as owners who may need to use the apartment intermittently with advanced planning.
Thanks so much!
We are a married couple in our late thirties. We recently had our first child, a baby girl this past November. I (she/her) am a pediatric occupational therapist with my own practice. My husband (he/him) works in PR/Marketing. We have a small 5-year-old 11lb bichon-poodle (non-shedding) who is incredibly well-behaved and pure joy. We are introverts who love traveling, cooking, running / cycling, and spending time in nature.
