Feb 21st, 2025
Our Mission is to co-create spaces of belonging and mutual support by collaboratively documenting and
remixing the musical traditions, stories, and remixes of underrepresented artists and their communities.
Our Vision
A community’s traditional music is its tether to the collective wisdom of past generations. Digital remix
expands our imagination into a future of all possibilities. Film and storytelling move us to connect more
deeply with each other. Collaboration reminds us we are greater than the sum of our parts. We harmonize
these expressions to elevate underrepresented communities while building more sustainable and
equitable human relationships. Find out how here:

WORKPLACE DESCRIPTION
Our workplace is a dynamic predominantly remote environment that oscillates between Zoom meetings,
emails, phone calls, and other virtual communication methods, as well as occasional in-person
work-related events throughout the year. We collaborate with traditional musicians and remix artists in
various settings, including in-person artist residencies, as well as facilitate live events that we bring to the
public. Our project began worldwide but since 2022, we have been focusing on building community in
New York City and the greater upstate New York area, through our annual Tanfis residency program:
