Who you work with: You work closely with Francesca, as well as the PORTA vendors.
Location and timing: The role is full time in New York
Orders
○ As items for order are identified, input information into the buy plan including SKUS and
pricing.
○ Prepare and send PO to vendors.
○ Update production timing and payment schedules for each vendor on the buy plan
○ Organize samples to be sent in advance of full order to be used for both product and
editorial shoots so that these can be ready as soon as they land.
○ Create product pages for products in Shopify, including naming products, inputting
product descriptions and pricing, following up with imagery when it is available.
○ Oversee and maintain live products and collections, ensuring information is up to date.
○ Input PO into the Shopify system so that the warehouse knows what and when to expect
the product.
○ Liaise with finance team on the timely payment of deposits and balances.
○ Track production making sure that timelines are being met.
○ When the product is ready, work with shipping agents to obtain quotes for review. Once
confirmed, work with the agent and vendor on the collection of products.
○ Liaise with the warehouse to update on changing delivery times.
○ Review and remove out of stock product / reactivate products before restock on the
website.
○ Work with merchandising team to identify low stock product to ensure that restocks are
ordered in a timely manner.
Planning
○ Research & Product Collaborations
○ Research products for inclusion in future seasons logging and maintaining slides and
sheets related to these seasons for easy reference.
○ Request price lists and compile information about production timing
○ Assists founders with the identification, outreach and communication around product
collaborations
Minimum Requirements
○ 5-year relevant experience in a high-growth company in the areas of design, home,
fashion.
○ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
○ Must be 18 years of age or older
○ Skilled in Shopify, Excel, Google suite
○ A proven ability to execute with consistent delivery and reprioritize in a fast-paced,
ever-changing environment, strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude under
pressure
○ Exceptional organizational, communication and multitasking skills
○ A strong ability to build cross-functional partnerships and work collaboratively
○ A growth mindset: the desire to learn, grow, and embrace new ideas
○ A solutions-oriented mentality with a data-driven approach
○ Must be US Citizen or green card holder
