Hello! We are seeking a full-time nanny for an energetic, funny and active six year-old boy. We need someone who thinks ahead, redirects with ease, and keeps his days full and filled with fun. He loves all creatures and animals. Dancing and playdates. Going on adventures is something he particularly enjoys, so someone who encourages and participates in his imagination is very important! We want you to take an active role in his play (when appropriate, of course). This also requires having the stamina to keep up as he is quite athletic. Swimming, biking, running, he really is 'all boy' as they say.
Monday and Tuesday are off, and week days typically start around 1:30 PM and go until 7 PM. Weekends are full time. **For the right person, we could be willing to rework the schedule if the aforementioned isn't quite right for you.** There is also a bit of travel involved: during the summers, a winter holiday, and 1-2 international trips per year. Someone who is flexible in their schedule and able to join these trips is key. Family is currently in Brooklyn Heights but will be moving to Manhattan later this year.
We provide a stipend for Healthcare and commuters, sick and personal days, 2 weeks paid vacation, and a 40-hour guarantee per week.
