Hi there. I'm renting my furnished room in a two-bedroom, one-bath new-build apartment with elevator access. Heat, gas, and Wi-Fi are included.
The apartment is on the 4th floor of an elevator building and has 13 windows, so it is very sunny and cheery, with many plants. It has central heating, and the building has rooftop access, a gym, and laundry in the basement.
I live here with my roommate, and we are especially clean and minimal. We're both working professionals, often working on our laptops at the dining table and in our rooms during the weekdays. She is often in and out of the apartment, so you will have much alone time.
My room has four windows, facing northeast and east, so it is very sunny all day. There will be closet and under-bed storage available.
The apartment is a 4-minute walk to the G train and the J/M/Z trains. It's 10 minutes away from the L train as well. There are multiple grocery stores a block or more away as well as the pharmacy, wine shop, and mail center. Generally, the street is quite peaceful, but the traffic occasionally gets noisy on busy Friday and Saturday evenings.
It's located a few blocks from Grand Street, with tons of restaurants and bars, and also, 15 min walk from main Williamsburg. The apartment is on Union Ave. and Stagg St.

I am a working professional dividing my time as a creative director in advertising, and a product designer for various types of companies, and have a jewelry business. I split my time between NYC and Berlin which is why my room is up for sublet!

Rental requirements
Ideally, I'm looking for someone to be here from Jan 1 - Feb 15th, which will be $4370.
If you are interested in renting the room for only the month of Jan (1-31), it is $2945. If you want to add on a few more days, it's $95/day in addition, all in (this also includes paper towels and toilet paper)
I require a deposit of $300, which you will get back on the 16th of Feb (regardless of when you stay, as that is when I will be back to take a look at the place!), and we will sign a subletter agreement that states the above.
You will be living with my roommate, Rae, who is also a UX designer and ceramic artist. She often works from home during the day, very much into keeping the apartment tidy and clean.
We're open to any gender of person living here, but you must be clean and be mindful of sharing the space. We generally clean up after using the kitchen and such and expect you to as well. I'm looking for someone peaceful and quiet and someone who doesn't bring the party home.
