We are a couple, architects, renting an independent apartment within our townhouse in Williamsburg at an amazing location one block from Domino Park and the waterfront, close to many great restaurants and cafes.
It is a 2 bedroom apartment (approx. 800 sq ft), with one bathroom (with shower) and a large living room with dining area combined.
One room has a double queen-size bed, the other has a comfortable sofabed that can transform the room into a one-person guest bedroom, a TV room with a sofa, or a regular bedroom with a queen size sofa-bed.
The 2nd room can also be transformed into an office or study.
Both rooms extend to a sunny sunroom as an extension of each bedroom. It is a quiet area that can be used as an office (one for each room) or an indoor lounge area.
The apartment is fully furnished and equipped with everything one needs (sheets, towels, kitchen and bathroom accessories).
There is a laundry closet with one washer and one dryer. All appliances are electric (there is no gas in the building for safety reasons). The cooktop is induction. There is microwave, oven, dishwasher and fridge.
The kitchen faucet is equipped with a drinking water filter.
The apartment is new, and so are all the appliances.
The apartment is located on the ground floor, with a private front yard surrounded by bamboo planters. It is located at street level but there is privacy and space between the street and the indoors. There is space for a table and chairs at the front yard to use as an outdoor seating area.
The building has security cameras at the front and rear and security service.
The apartment has two doors before entering. The door locks are Nest, and can be operated remotely, and so is the apartment doorbell for receiving packages while away.
There is fast internet service provided, and so is hot water and all bills (water and electricity).
If needed, additional storage can be provided (without regular access) for suitcases or personal items.
