This is my furnished room full of light. It has double glass window and an open View on The Choir Schoolof Harlem . (See photo). The room is the original living room. I made into my bedroom more than fifteen years ago. See photo of the “wall” made with bookcases). The building has an elevator. I moved in when it was brand new,,eighteen years ago. I am living abroad until June and hopefully, until the end of the year. I emptied two Ikea armoires and a set of drawers. . There is a full size Serta electric bed with an orthopedic mattress. There is a dinning table and a smaller one that I use as my desk. The kitchen has everything you might need, including two kinds of coffee makers.
There are three of us in the apartment. Each one takes care of the common areas every three weeks. We share the cleaning supplies.
We are independent, private, busy people. We are mindful when using the kitchen, the AC, and the W/D. We enjoy the building's wonderful furnished terrace.
I am originally from Colombia. I came to New York as a student. I keep myself busy with work and New York's cultural life. I will be away the whole time. Michael is also very busy at work. He does not cook at all. Liz is also very busy. She cooks a little.
The mortgage on this apartment is on my name. It was a brand new building seventeen years ago.
I need proof of income, personal references, one month of deposit and the first month of rent to move in. I will only consider people looking to stay at least until the end of June.
I will be showing the room Wednesday Thursday and Friday.
