Welcome to the layout of the space!

The apartment: I’m subletting one room in my 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment in the middle of Bed-Stuy/Bushwick and I would be your roommate. The apartment is spacious: it has two big windows in the living room with natural light, a dining table, a couch, a Roku TV, and a coffee table. The kitchen has large appliances such as a gas stove, oven, and dishwasher, and the laundry is located in the basement.

The workspace: I’ve adjusted the space to accommodate hybrid work with a desk in the living room nook facing the window and private office space with an ergonomic chair/desk, both of which have monitors.

The room: Your room has a large window facing trees and is furnished with a full-sized bed, a desk, and a closet. Your personal bathroom is in the hallway.

The area: 8 minutes from the J, M, and right by buses B46, B47, and B38. There are several grocery stores, restaurants, and bars within walking distance as well as Maria Hernandez Park.

My name is Amani (he/him) and I am a 29-year-old new to the city. I am a teacher by training, but I now work in design thinking. I am in Manhattan, NY or New Brunswick, NJ 1-2 days a week, but otherwise, I work from home. I am extroverted by nature but also enjoy having space to read, journal, and cook.
