Operationally Fluent: You collaborate seamlessly with the kitchen manager to anticipate retail flow shifts due to holidays, world events, and seasonal trends.

What You’ll Do:

Oversee daily operations with an eye for speed, efficiency, and exceptional service.
Manage scheduling, time-off tracking, and shift coverage to ensure smooth day-to-day flow.
Handle hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and performance reviews to build and retain a strong team.
Monitor and respond to online reviews and social media, keeping our brand voice strong and engaging.
Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships, keeping supply chains smooth and cost-effective.
Work closely with the kitchen manager to anticipate fluctuations in demand and adjust accordingly.
Troubleshoot tech and operational issues, from POS malfunctions to last-minute logistical challenges.
Collaborate directly with ownership on training, operational efficiencies, and expansion strategies.
Handle sensitive HR issues professionally and proactively, ensuring a respectful and inclusive work environment.

Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced food, retail, or operational management role.
Next-level organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.
Strong tech literacy and the ability to adapt to new systems quickly.
A growth mindset, always looking for ways to improve processes, training, and team efficiency.
The ability to manage vendor relations, inventory, and ordering with precision.
The ability to handle hiring, scheduling, and employee development seamlessly.
Confidence in social media monitoring and review response to maintain a strong public presence.
The ability to work closely with kitchen operations, understanding how external factors impact daily volume.

This role is for our Park Slope location at 7th Avenue & Garfield Place. The founder/owner will personally be leading the interview process.
