German Speaking Nanny

We are looking for a part-time nanny to take care of our 10 month old son for 2 to 3 days per week plus occasional evenings. Our schedule is flexible and we can collaborate with the right candidate to establish a routine that works best.
Primarily, we are looking for someone who speaks fluent German (so that our son can learn) and who loves caring for young children.
The ideal person is positive, organized and responsive to helping where needed. In addition, we would greatly appreciate someone who enjoys cooking healthy meals for our son and family. We prefer a candidate who is comfortable around dogs and would potentially be open to walking our dog when out in the world with our son.
We are looking for someone who:
- has 5+ years experience working with children under the age of 3
- enjoys the outdoors
- is CPR certified
- has a driver's license
About Us
My partner and I live in San Pedro, CA with our 10 month old son and dog. I am an Austrian-American mom and artist working from home while my partner is a business owner who commutes to Long Beach 5 days a week. We are both from the northeast.
We live in a cottage in Coastal San Pedro, a 5 min walk to the ocean, Point Fermin, Angel's Gate and White's Point park. We love to spend time outside with our son and dog, to explore the nearby nature and neighborhood. We enjoy a relaxed, clean and peaceful homespace and look forward to opening it up to the right caregiver.
