THE APARTMENT
This light-filled 5th floor elevator apartment is is a true one-bedroom, with a fully-stocked galley kitchen, a gorgeous custom bathroom that was just renovated, a large dining room/foyer, and a large office off the kitchen with two desks, a convertible standing desk, and a 24-inch monitor.
The apartment is bigger than a lot of 2-BRs, and all rooms look out across several tree-lined blocks of single-family homes, so there's actually a lovely view--a rare thing in Brooklyn.
The hardwood floors are original, and the place is furnished with a few collectors' pieces and lots of plants and books. There are AC units in the office, bedroom, and living room. The bedroom has a new Cal King (not pictured) and dual exposure windows. There's a nice film projector in the living room, with Apple TV and all streaming services. The place is clean and smoke free, and honestly really special.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
I'm in the heart of Prospect Lefferts Gardens. Great groceries, cafes, and restaurants within walking distance. 7-minute walk to the Parkside Q and the gorgeous southern entrance of Prospect Park, and 10 minutes to the B train at Prospect Park. Also an 8-minute walk to the 2 and 5 trains at Winthrop. Just over 30mins to Lower Manhattan/Chinatown/SoHo.
I work as a writer / communications director in public radio, and my background is in arts writing, mental health, and academic humanities research. I’ve hosted and rented on the Listings Project many times and have had great experiences!
