My roommate and I, both in our early 30s, are looking for a new roommate to join us starting Nov 1st for a year lease!

* We're big on community and like to bring people together (in pre-planned gatherings--everything from salons to dance parties), so lots of opportunities to network and make new friends!
* We are part of the Fractal Community (https://fractalnyc.substack.com/about), giving you access to a larger community, events, job opportunities, and a shared space in the 1st floor for hanging/throwing your own events if you desire!
* We're ~4 minutes from the Morgan L (9 min from 1st ave in Manhattan) & ~12 minutes from J/M/Z trains
* Laundry in building (2 rooms)
* Outstanding, huge roof
* Close to restaurants, bars, multiple grocery options, and lots of stores!
* Wonderful, responsive super

The room includes a black cabinet with hangers and a nightstand (feel free to not keep them). The bed may be for sale or may not be there--will update as more info comes in.

$1450 + utilities

What would make you a great fit:
* Do you love learning, interesting discourse, listening to good music and eating good food?
* Do you care about cleanliness? We do too! Also, Annina has celiac disease, so gluten will make her sick (including cross-contamination on surfaces). Gluten is in the house, we're just careful! We are looking for someone who is attentive to cleanliness for health-purposes
* Do you have no pets (with fur)?
* Does everything else above sound great to you?

About This Lister

Annina and Alina (both she/her) both like to learn, read, discuss what they've learned, host friends, conceive of grand ideas, attempt to reorganize the healthcare system, listen to vibey jams, do yoga (Alina is better about doing more), and hang out on our massive roof! We are clean and like nice smells and good lighting.

Annina works from home Monday & Friday (mostly in her room), gone by 8:15am Tues-Thurs & Alina has a variable schedule.
