Hello! My roommate is moving out and I'm looking for someone to take her room. The minimum stay is till June 2025 with the option to re-sign the lease then.

The Room:
A spacious bedroom that comfortably fits a king or queen-sized bed. There’s room for a desk and dresser alongside a queen bed. There is a closet and two windows, the space is super sunny and bright.

The Apartment:
This is the larger bedroom in a two-bedroom apartment with a cozy setup. The living room has a full-sized couch, coffee table, and TV. The kitchen comes with a small table, stove/oven, coffee maker, toaster oven, fridge, and dishwasher. There’s a standard bathroom, and the building has laundry on the first floor. We’re on the sixth floor in a walk-up. You can google Have and Meyer restaurant for a proximate location.

Transportation:
• 7-minute walk to Bedford station (L)
• 6-minute walk to Lorimer station (L/G)
• 10-minute walk to Marcy station (J/M)

The Neighborhood:
Located in one of Williamsburg’s best areas, our apartment is above a cozy Italian wine bar and restaurant, and right next door to a charming French bistro. There’s a supermarket a block away, a Whole Foods within a 5-minute walk, and a Trader Joe’s about 8 minutes away. The neighborhood has everything from coffee shops, thrift stores, and restaurants to chain stores like Apple and Whole Foods.

About This Lister

About Me:
Hi! My name is Liv and I’m a 32-year-old woman (she/her) working part-time as a nanny and applying to grad schools. I previously worked in tech, but I’m now exploring a new path. I share the apartment with my small, very friendly hypoallergenic dog, Winona. I’m clean and do most of my socializing outside of the apartment, though I might have a friend over for a pre-dinner drink on occasion. I keep weeknights quiet, winding down by 9:30 PM.

Ideal Roommate:
I’m looking for a young professional who’s clean, friendly, works in the office (or at least hybrid) and keeps things relaxed at home. I’d love the space to feel warm and welcoming—a place where we can unwind. While I enjoy being social, I’d prefer someone who also does most of their socializing outside the apartment and views home as a calm retreat. Smoke free, please!

If you think this sounds like a good fit, reach out and share a little bit about yourself!
