We are two responsible and conscientious flatmates in our 30s looking for a new friend to fill the third room in our shared apartment, located on Bushwick Ave between Lawton and Cedar. The bedroom that is open is small but the common areas are large and there is a shared storage room for extra space. Hardwood floors throughout apartment, the room gets great sunlight, south facing, and we have a great, calm, co-living vibe. Bathroom has a tub and is shared with one other person only.

Things to know: third floor walk up, no elevator, no laundry or dishwasher. No AC, but there is a very good cross breeze. Offered month to month for now with the potential for this to turn into a longer term situation if we all feel it is the right fit! Located in a very fun part of Bushwick with lots going on. M, J, and L trains nearby.

We don't wear shoes in the apartment, we clean up after ourselves, take turns with taking out the trash/recycling, don't smoke indoors, one of us takes covid precautions so would appreciate some awareness around that when you're sick.

One artist, one archivist. We keep the place clean to hopefully be pest free, have lived in this apartment for many years so it feels like home. Likes: art, fashion, nature, bikes, community, civic engagement, and so on. Cook a few times a week but not too much meat or fried food, we have meals together sometimes and care a lot about our living environment. Would be nice to hang out sometimes but we each do also value alone time. Current other flat mates both have day jobs, occasionally one of us gets to work from home so will randomly be home during the day. In the process of upgrading the apartment with new paint and repairs, new rug and coffee table incoming. Come see the place and meet us!
