Large, light-filled 150 square foot room available February 1 in a shared apartment. A 120 square foot office extension will be available beginning May 1 when the current tenant moves out (apartment is currently a 3 bedroom and will be converted into a 2 bedroom). The two rooms are conjoined by a door. Rent from February 1 to May 1 is $900, and $1,500 from May onwards with the office extension. Utilities, internet and shared household toiletries which I restock monthly are an additional $100 per month.

I (33F) am a musician and occupy a room and my own work space on the opposite side of the apartment, so there will be much privacy for both of us. A small common area (90 square feet) joins the two sides of the apartment, and bathroom and kitchen are also shared. You will also have your own closet, located in the hallway adjacent to your room.

I have lived in this apartment for almost a decade and have put a lot of love and care into it. I am hoping to share it with someone who appreciates beautiful and peaceful environments as much as I do. This would be a great arrangement for a fellow artist, or someone who works from home. Late 20s/early 30s or older is preferred.

Things to note:
-The unit is located on the 3rd floor of the building and there is no elevator
-There is no in-unit laundry available, but there are several laundromats within walking distance
-The cross streets of the apartment are Catalpa Avenue and 60th Street. The closest trains are the Forest Ave M and the Halsey L
-No pets, sorry!
-First month + $1,500 security deposit required
-This is a year+ long sublease agreement. I ask 30 days notice if you would like to move out sooner
