A great space that affords a lot more privacy than many shared spaces I’ve seen / lived in. The house is a 2 bed 1.5 bath, stand alone with a driveway, fully fenced in yard, basement, washer/dryer (there is also a garage but is not be a shared space). Right by the gorgeous and massive holy cross cemetery!

The room available is large and gets A TON of great light all day with three windows! It also has a decent sized closet. Good amount of space to play with. There is a celling fan in the room! No shared walls.
 Both bedrooms are on the second floor of the house along with the bathroom and linen closet.

First floor includes a nice entryway/coat area, large eat in kitchen, and large living room. Second floor includes the two bedrooms and bathroom, and the basement includes the laundry area, work space and 1/2 bath/utility bathroom. The driveway is private and the yard is fenced in. There is a small greenhouse. I have a grill and in the spring I'm gonna get some good patio furniture and maybe a little fire pit.

I'm looking to turn the basement into a work space. Right now it has just been a landing zone for odds and ends (a little chaotic in the pics). I'm happy to have the basement be a shared workspace. If interested we can set it up together and figure out how to organize it and divide the space up.

It's around a 20 min walk to the Beverly 2/5 and the Church 2/5. Its a little far but a nice walk along the cemetery. Often what I do is take a Citi bike (docs are on the block and they always have electric bikes) to the train. This is a good place for someone who doesn't mind a little bit of a commute to the train, has a car, or bikes a lot. I have a car and would be happy to coordinate trips o the grocery store or what have you... The neighborhood is pretty residential. It's chill and quiet.

I have a furniture business that I run with two friends. We have a workshop near by and I also use the garage as a work/storage space for the business. I bartend at a spot in Prospect Heights for a few hours on Fridays and Saturdays. I'm pretty busy and gone a decent amount but also work from home a few days a week (mostly outside but as it gets colder work will be moving into the basement). Ideally looking for someone who does not work from home full-time... When I’m home and not working, I am reading, writing, listening to music, watching TV, cooking. I generally am not one to bring the party home but I do like to have friends over for drinks and/or dinner sometimes.

Not super rigid about cleaning schedules but it is important to me that common spaces are kept up and respected by both housemates. I do like to have a relationship with my housemate but don't have expectations aside from mutual respect for space / privacy / communication. We'll find our rhythm.
