About this Service

I'm a dreamer, but I don't believe that dreams come true --- reality does!

---

Certified professional coach seeks a few volunteers for reduced-rate life coaching. I'm in my second year of business, and exploring different niches.

Please inquire if you're looking for support in any of the following:

- feeling dissatisfied with relationships and looking for a change
- desiring a "level up" (whatever that means to you)
- overcoming habitual people-pleasing
- pursuing a big goal

Come in feeling UNSURE, HESITANT, and STUCK IN YOUR HEAD.

-->
Leave DECISIVE, SELF-TRUSTING, and GROUNDED IN YOUR OWN KNOWING.

I am great at working with perfectionists and over-thinkers. Most of my current clients are artists and creatives who want to take their work more seriously and feel more confident and focused.

Our first call would be $25 for 60 minutes of coaching. If you think you might benefit from my continued support, I'll offer a 50% discount on my current rates. All calls are 60 minutes and held on Zoom. The full package includes continuous messaging support.

This is for you if you've tried journaling, self-help, and therapy, and you want more support. This is for you if you are READY to commit to making change in your life for the better. :-) Send me an email with a little bit about yourself and what drew you to my coaching, and I'll respond with the link to purchase and schedule your $25 special offer session.

Life coaching is not therapy. While my coaching approach draws inspiration from therapeutic modalities like ACT and somatic techniques, coaching and therapy serve different purposes. As a Certified Professional Coach through an ICF-accredited program, I don't diagnose or treat mental illness, which remains within the realm of licensed therapists.

What makes my coaching unique is the real-time accountability and support you receive through messaging between sessions—a level of connection rarely available in traditional therapy. This ongoing engagement helps maintain momentum and provides assistance when challenges arise.

My passion for psychology (yes, I read therapy textbooks for fun!) informs my practice, while still honoring the distinct boundaries between coaching and therapy.

I guarantee that I will show up fully committed to your growth, bringing my complete expertise, attention, and support to every session. However, coaching is a collaborative partnership where results depend significantly on your engagement and follow-through. I can't guarantee specific outcomes because meaningful change requires your active participation, willingness to try new approaches, and consistency in applying what we discuss. What I can promise is that I'll create a supportive environment, offer valuable tools, and walk alongside you throughout your journey. The most successful clients are those who take ownership of their progress while leveraging the accountability and guidance I provide.

"It is a privilege to work so closely with and be so supported by such a creative, empathetic, and just plain fun human being. Anna holds up a mirror to the way I think and it's been a mind-bending experience. I have been blown away by what we've discovered. Just when I feel the thrill of what I've accomplished Anna keeps pushing and I discover a new peak. I feel like I'm saving my life." - Hazel, private coaching client

"I always leave our sessions feeling very energized and like I have a new way to tackle the things I'm dealing with. When I look back on the past few months, the way I think and the way I talk to myself has completely changed. The way I view myself is so different and I feel like that's just going to ripple in so many ways into the future." - CB, private coaching client

Self-trust, self-ownership, momentum, depth, confidence, generosity, play, openness, courage.

Geographical history:
I was raised on the island of Martha's Vineyard, MA, and attended liberal arts college in Ohio. Moved to NYC after graduation and have been here since. I'm currently in love with someone who lives in Albany - so I'm upstate quite a bit!!

Playful, direct. Logical.

The two "pillars" of my approach: Clarity & Action.

I call it Truth AND Dare :-) We figure out you really want and what's holding you back (clarity), and then I dare you to do something about it (action).

Background and Expertise

I am a Certified Professional Coach (with Thriving Coach Academy, an ICF-accredited program) currently in my second year of business.

My experience working at the Johnson O'Connor Research Foundation, a century-old nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals find career fulfillment, was a turning point for me in my career. I was there for three years and loved the job, but I had a hard time saying goodbye to my clients after I presented their "results". I wanted to help them succeed, and I could see that what some people really needed was actually support with mindset. I've seen incredibly talented people cruelly berate themselves during aptitude tests, and it made me realize how much our self-perception impacts our career journey. This insight sparked my passion for coaching.

I wanted to go beyond test results and career assessments to address the root of the problem - helping people see how beautiful and capable they truly are.
