Looking to fill our third bedroom in a 3br 1b apartment in an elevator doorman building in Midtown Hell's Kitchen. We also just moved in so we are in the process of decorating. Room is currently semi-furnished; 12ft x 9ft, a double window with installed blinds, as well as curtains. Air conditioner is already in window and none needs to be purchased, also great steam heat in winter. Laundry facilities on premises in the basement. We have a few shared spaces outside of our bedrooms: a living room, a sunken dining room and separate/spacious fully equipped kitchen that has two refrigerators. This is a fairly large apartment for Manhattan standards. We have a lease that ends in mid-October 2025, with option to renew at same price for a second year, so we prefer a long-term roommate, but we're open to discussion. We have a new twin mattress available if you want to use it, as well as a desk, two lounge chairs, a nightstand - but the room is yours to decorate/furnish as you wish (it can easily fit a full or queen size bed, but the options are there if you need a jumpstart). Rent is $1850/mo plus utilities split between three, and a deposit plus first month is required to move in. About us - we are an LBGT-friendly apartment, a male and female both in our 40s, working in midtown. Photos: The photo with the new twin mattress is the room as it is right now, with present furniture. It can fit a Queen-size bed with plenty of room to spare should you want to bring your own furniture. Please reach out for details, and/or if you want to see the place.
Location: Midtown Hells Kitchen. Virtually every subway line is within a 5-minute walk. Central Park is 7 blocks away. Great restaurants with fabulous happy hours, all Broadway shows, theatres, Lincoln Center at walking distance.
New York City native (female) working in the arts with a separate art studio nearby, and a long-time NYC resident (male) in the tech industry.
We are tenants registered with the building via Management Company lease.
$20 credit/background check required, and all tenants must register with the building. One month's rent and security required upfront.
